Trick-or-Treat

Yesterday Evelyn had a Harvest Party at school.  The kids got to dress up in non-scary costumes.  Ev decided she wanted to go as a cheerleader.  So she did...pom poms and all.  When I pick her up she proceeds to tell me that Kyler wants to be her boyfriend b/c they're both 4.  Then she says not to tell Jacob b/c she doesn't want him to know.  Aren't boys supposed to have cooties?  She's too young for this!

Last night was also trick-or-treat.  Jacob went as Iron Man, Evelyn was a fairy princess and Aiden was a mouse.  And Claire...well, she's too tiny for a costume.  She slept right through the whole thing.  Jacob and Evelyn had fun running up to the houses and getting the candy.  Aiden, however, didn't do much trick-or-treating...he didn't want to be carried up to the houses, nor did he want to hold anyone's hand.  He wanted to run wherever.  And in our neighborhod there is a mass amount of trick-or-treaters runnng all over like crazy people, not to mention it was dark out...so it wasn't really safe for him.  He stayed in the stroller most of the time.  All in all it was a pretty fun night.  The kids always love dressing up.

Claire didn't have a costume so she wore her little ghost shirt
