Exciting News!

Tonight I was doing homework with Jacob.  Afterwards we started talking about Jesus and what it means to be a Christian and Jacob said he would like to ask Him into his heart.  So we prayed.  He is so excited (as are we) and can't stop grinning from ear to ear!  We just wanted to share this news with you!  Praise God!

No!

So tonight we were sitting at the dinner table and Aiden was being so funny.  Then I realized that our camera has a video function on it (we've had the camera almost 3 years and have never used the video function).  So I decided to try and record him.  He's in this stage right now what no matter what you ask him he says no and shakes his head.  Hilarious!
We do have a video camera but now that I figured out how to use the video function on the regular camera I can share these funny things our kids say and do with you.  And it wasn't hard to figure out at all!  So I'm sure now you'll be getting to view all sorts of interesting things that happen around here.

I can't believe it's November already.  Time sure does fly!  These past couple of weeks have been rough.  Matt and the kids had colds and sore throats.  Thankfully, they're all recovering- but now I've got what they had.  We're praying the sickness leaves our house quickly!

For those of you who know a lot about me, you know I LOVE to shop with coupons.  Recently, you could say I've become a little obsessed with them.  Last night we packed up all the kids in the van and drove up to Perrysburg to do some grocery shopping at their Kroger.  (They double coupons up to $1- meaning you can potentially save up to $2 off one item.)

I was very pleased with this shopping trip.  We paid $19.75 for all of that stuff.  That's an 85% savings!!  That's the most I've saved in one trip before so I'm going to try to beat that...might be kind of hard though.
